2026-01-28 - 13:22

Amazon will cut 16,000 corporate roles worldwide, marking its second wave of layoffs in three months. The move affects office-based staff, not warehouse or logistics workers. Amazon employs 1.5 million people globally, of whom about 350,000 hold corporate positions. This round follows a cut of 14,000 roles announced in October, bringing the total to 30,000 jobs eliminated since late 2025.
