The European Union will delay ratification of its trade agreement with the United States after the US Supreme Court struck down a large share of tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump. The decision follows a ruling on Friday that found Trump lacked authority to introduce several duties last spring. After the judgment, Trump announced new across-the-board import tariffs of 10 per cent. The rate rose to 15 per cent on Saturday.
