Donald Trump has criticised Britain and Spain for refusing to fully back US strikes on Iran, threatening to halt trade with Madrid and accusing London of delaying access to military bases. Speaking during an Oval Office meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on Tuesday, Trump said he was “not happy with the UK” after Prime Minister Keir Starmer declined to join the US-Israeli assault launched at the weekend. “This is not Winston Churchill that we’re dealing with,” Trump said.
