Yle: Finnish officers leave Greenland after NATO coordination mission

Two Finnish liaison officers deployed to Greenland have completed their assignment and will return to Finland by the end of the week, the Finnish Defence Forces confirmed to Finnish news outlets Helsingin Sanomat and Yle. The officers were sent to the Arctic territory last week at the request of Denmark. Their role was to assess logistical and operational conditions on the ground in relation to Denmark’s Arctic Endurance training initiative.
