Youth survey finds rising pressure and record low life satisfaction in Finland

Young people in Finland report growing pressure over work, studies and the future, while overall life satisfaction has fallen to the lowest level recorded since the Youth Barometer began more than three decades ago. The findings appear in the Youth Barometer 2025, an annual survey examining the attitudes, expectations and experiences of people aged 15 to 29 living in mainland Finland. The latest edition focused on pressures faced by young people and gathered responses from 2,312 participants.
